The Raftery family, spanning seven generations, has been in the retail trade in Corofin since 1850. Then, grocery, drapery, hardware & pub were then under one roof with an adjoining post office. Today there are two Centra stores located in Corofin & Claregalway, The pub is in a separate building while Cummer post office is still very much part of the local community

Employing over 40 local people, each member of the team ensures the group ethos of
